Everything You Need to Know About the New MPower Fitness

Exciting news! We’ve changed our name to MPower Fitness!

Before you get nervous that the gym you love is not going to be the same, let us reassure you–we’re still all about Fun, Fast Fitness and Fat Loss.

We still believe in the science that proves 30-minute HIIT team workouts are one of the most effective ways to burn fat, get fit, and lose weight.

We’re still committed to offering members nutritional guidance to help reach their goals faster.

And we still have the same team of motivating, fun, certified trainers to guide you toward your goals.

So why the change?

It’s simple–we want to open up new fitness opportunities for our members. We think by offering you expanded choices, you will be even more motivated to reach your goals and have fun on your fitness journey.

What’s New at MPower?

In the weeks to come, we’re going to be offering some exciting new options for member workouts. In addition to 30-minute HIIT team workouts, watch for:

  • Yoga. Yoga is an ancient discipline that combines conscious breathing, postures, stretching and meditation. Yoga offers many benefits including increased flexibility, balance, and strength. It can also help reduce chronic pain, like menstrual cramps, menopause symptoms, headaches, back aches, etc. What’s more, yoga has been known to help lower blood pressure, improve sleep, and enhance energy. Bonus–we’re finally going to wear our favorite pants to do the exercise for which they were designed.
  • Zumba. Zumba is a rhythmic, Latin American, full-body dance workout that burns fat and calories and helps improve coordination. Zumba offers both aerobic and anaerobic benefits for increasing heart strength and maintaining a healthy cardiovascular respiratory system. The workout is highly recommended for members who love to dance and have fun!
  • Personal Training. You asked and we listened. For those members who feel they could benefit from one-to-one coaching, MPower will be offering Personal Training. Personal Training is especially effective if you’ve hit a weight loss plateau or want help training for an event (like a marathon.) A personal trainer will hold you accountable, help you maintain proper form to avoid injury, and assist you in maximizing your results.

We’re pretty excited about our new name!

It underscores one of our core beliefs–that each of us can be empowered to achieve our fitness and weight loss goals through hard work, team support, motivational coaching, nutritional guidance, and HIIT training.
